Award season is coming

We as creatives know that this time of the year is award season. That time of the year we always wait for, where you work to get tons of awards and recognition. Where you get to go to all those networking events. Meet the advertising Gurus. That’s great. But what about your portfolio? What about a business card? What about selling yourself? You gotta think this through.

As I always say that a job is looking for you, you should always be prepared. That’s your time to shine. Don’t hide your work, add to your book. Share on Linkedin what you did. Sell yourself, you should be proud.

A lot of my clients comes after me to update their portfolio after the award season is over. But what about doing that before the award season starts? That’s where you set yourself in the market: while the whole world is seeing your idea succeed, you should succeed with it.
