Social Media usage in the Philippines is one of the highest in the world. In Jan 2016, out of the 101.47 million population of the Philippines, 48 million or 47% are active Social Media users. Every year, the growth of active Social Media users increases at +20%.

Just imagine the potential of its reach. Almost half of the total population can be your potential customer. In fact, Filipinos are using Social Media platforms for an average of 53 hours a week. If your business can penetrate a percentage of the total active Social Media users in the Philippines, you can expect growth in your business.

Problem is, although there are 48 million active Social Media users in the Philippines, only 29% of the population is using Social Media to search and purchase products and services.
